Company History

1936: Toyo Radiator Manufacturing Co., Ltd. established on November 11.
1937: Kawasaki Factory (name later changed to Kawasaki Works) begins operation.
1940: Nagoya Factory (now Nagoya Works) begins operation.
1944: Company name changed to Toyo Cooler Co., Ltd.

First fin die at our Nagoya Factory in 1949
1951: Company name changed to Toyo Radiator Co., Ltd.
1958: Osaka Branch (now Sales/Marketing & Technical Division (Osaka) ) opens.

1960: Hatano Factory (now Hatano Works) begins operation. Technical Research Center opens.

1962: Kawasaki Works operations moved to Hatano Works.
1969: Listed on the First Section of Tokyo Stock Exchange.

1985: Higashiura Factory in Nagoya Works begins operation.

1988: CoPAR Inc. (now T.RAD North America, Inc.) established in Kentucky, USA.
1990: Joint venture TORC Co., Ltd. established in Thailand.
1997: Joint venture TATA Toyo Radiator Ltd. established in India.

2004: TOYO RADIATOR Czech s.r.o. (now T.RAD Czech s.r.o.) established in Czech Republic.

2011: TACO/T.RAD R&D Centre established in India.
2012: North America T.RAD R&D Center established.A
T.RAD (Changshu) Co., Ltd. established in Jiangsu, China.
T.RAD (VIETNAM) Co., Ltd. established in Vietnam.

T.RAD Sales Europe GmbH established in Germany.
2018: T.RAD CONNECT Co., Ltd. established.
2022 April: Company recategorized from the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange to the Prime Market segment, due to a revision of the market divisions used by the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
